New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Ariana and the Rose takes the tube to new dancefloor depths with "London Boys", a daringly primal collab with "no-holds-bar rapper" (Pitchfork) Cakes Da Killa, which drops today.
"London Boys" is a hard-thumping electro dance-tinged siren song which finds the "technicolored synthpop powerhouse" (NYLON) calling out to her suitors with the deliciously seductive spitfire "I could be your Bond girl, be my Sean Connery". Paired with a ferocious whirlwind verse by Cakes Da Killa, "London Boys" is the perfect soundtrack to a dark club and a worthy follow-up to her recent track "Every Body" which Paper called "an electric invitation to the dance floor", and Billboard praised as a "dark electropop raver about unity and inclusivity."
"This song is a tribute to the incredible London club culture and of course all the cute British boys! We need music that brings us together on the dance floor and unites us from New York to across the pond and everywhere in between." - said Ariana about the track

Cakes Da Killa added, "Loved working with Ariana on this track! We shared a little piece of what we love about London to your eardrums and took you on a journey across the pond without the airfare."

Written and produced alongside longtime collaborator Andy Highmore (his credits include AlunaGeorge & The Knocks), "London Boys" & "Every Body" mark a sonic rebirth for Ariana and the Rose, an artist who Nylon once called the "ultimate cool girl" and Ladygunn proclaimed as "a refreshing burst of authenticity". At the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, Ariana had an entire album of songs ready to release - effervescent, hopeful and carefree. But with quarantine and the disconnected state of society, she ended up scrapping it all feeling it didn't match the tone of the world. As quarantine continued, she started from scratch, writing, composing and recording the music she wanted to hear once the world opened up and we could once again unite on the dancefloor. Now that music is seeing the light of day.

This year also found Ariana and the Rose dropping a star-studded video for "Every Body" that featured nightlife/LGBTQ+ legends like Amanda Lepore, Kandy Muse, Rhea Litre, The Dragon Sisters,Laith Ashley, and more, going viral on TikTok when a video of a piano-assisted spoken word piece she posted earned an astounding 8 million views on the social media platform in less than a week, and also heading out on tour with Torres earlier this fall.

Additionally, Ariana and the Rose has earned acclaim from Consequence of Sound, Paper Magazine, Vice, Time Magazine, Refinery 29, LOGO, and more. She is also the curator of the immersive music and art party "light + space" which has had numerous events across Manhattan & Brooklyn (including a residency at House Of Yes), as well as one-off performances in LA and (of course) London.
