Love Songs Will Fill The Air When Freddie Jackson & Ruben Studdard Entertain At Rivers Casino Philadelphia
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Soulful love songs by legendary Freddie Jackson and American Idol winner Ruben Studdard will fill Rivers Casino Philadelphia when their show starts Valentine's weekend on Friday, Feb. 11, 2022, at 8 p.m. Tickets for The Event Center show go on sale Friday, Nov. 12, at RiversCasino.com/Philadelphia and start at $40.
"One show - two incredible performers. Freddie Jackson and Ruben Studdard will bring R&B and romance to Rivers Casino at the perfect time to celebrate Valentine's Day," said Justin Moore, general manager of Rivers Casino Philadelphia.

Freddie Jackson: Known for his sensual slow jams and songs that serenade, Freddie Jackson's introspective sides are on full display on "Love Signals" (2018), his most recent album. While "Love Signals" is classic Freddie, including signature romantic ballads and mid-tempo love songs, in many ways it's the most personal and introspective release of his distinguished 33-year career. Since the mid-1980s, when the sun went down, the moon rose, the candles were lit, and the wine poured, Freddie Jackson's classics like Rock Me Tonight (For Old Times' Sake)," "Have You Ever Loved Somebody," "Jam Tonight," "Tasty Love," "You Are My Lady" and "Nice & Slow" - have been a part of the soundtrack for romance.

Ruben Studdard: Ruben Studdard rose to fame as winner of the second season of "American Idol" in 2003, and his career only went up thereafter. An American R&B, pop and gospel singer, Ruben received a Grammy nomination in 2003 for Best Male R&B Vocal Performance for "Superstar." In the years following "Idol," Studdard released six studio albums, including his platinum-selling debut, "Soulful," and the top-selling gospel follow-up "I Need an Angel." He is most well known for his recording career, which has produced hits including "Flying Without Wings," "Sorry 2004" and "Change Me." Most notably, he toured with Robin Givens in the comedy-drama "I Need a Hug," and in 2008, he starred as Fats Waller in a national tour revival of "Ain't Misbehavin," which spawned a Grammy-nominated soundtrack.

Other performances in The Event Center will include comedian Chuck Nice on Thursday, Nov. 18; jazz performers Najee, Michael Lington and Paul Taylor on Friday, Nov. 26; comedian Aunt Mary Pat on Wednesday, Dec. 8; and Grammy-nominated singer Brian McKnight on Saturday, Dec. 18.
