Franz Ferdinand Announce Australian Tour!

SYDNEY, AU. (SONY BMG Music Entertainment) - Stripy t-shirt wearers of the world unite: Franz Ferdinand will be back in Australia in January for two shows - one in Melbourne and one in Sydney. With Franz releasing their new album 'You Could Have It So Much Better' on October 2, and single 'Do You Want To' rocking the airwaves, these summer shows are set to sizzle! We are very, very, VERY excited to announce that Franz Ferdinand will be here again next year! The guys have confirmed that they'll be back to play two gigs - one in Sydney at the Enmore Theatre on January 24, and one in Melbourne at The Palace on January 31.

These tickets will absolutely walk out the door, so you might want to think about packing a tent and thermos and camping on the steps of your local ticket outlet to make sure you score one! They go on sale at 9am, Friday September 30, so you've got time to plan ahead - Don't say we didn't warn you!

It's not long to go either until the fabulous foursome drop the follow-up to their self-titled debut, the eagerly-anticipated 'You Could Have It So Much Better'. It's another gem from Alex Kapranos, Bob Hardy, Nick McCarthy and Paul Thomson, and it's set to be one of the best things you'll hear all year.
