Shore Fire Clients Win Seven Grammys In Multiple Best-album Categories Highlighting Breadth Of Roster!
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Shore Fire Media congratulates our clients who received a collective seven GRAMMY Awards last night, six of which were in Best Album categories ranging from Global Music and Jazz Vocal to Traditional Blues and Folk. Further highlighting the breadth of the company's roster, eleven-time Grammy winner Bonnie Raitt joined 2022 Musicares honoree Joni Mitchell onstage during the telecast to introduce a performance by Brandi Carlile, and Best Dance/Electronic Album nominees Sylvan Esso, in their first Grammy appearance, presented a number of awards at the Premiere Ceremony.

Cedric Burnside won his first-ever Grammy in the Traditional Blues Album category for I Be Trying, and Rhiannon Giddens won her second Grammy and first as a solo artist in the Best Folk Album category for They're Calling Me Home. Other highlights include Angelique Kidjo's win in Best Global Music Album for Mother Nature, bringing her career total to five; and Esperanza Spalding's win in Jazz Vocal Album for Songwright Apothecary Lab, which likewise brings her career Grammy tally to five.
