Guns N' Roses Line Up New Year's Shows In Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS (AP) - Guns N' Roses will once again celebrate New Year's Eve with shows at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.

GN'R has lined up two year-ending shows at the Joint -- the venue inside the hotel -- for Dec. 29 and 31. Tickets for the shows go on sale on Saturday (Dec. 8) at 12 p.m. PT at all Ticketmaster outlets.

"We've been cooped up in the studio for so long, that we have to release some energy," commented Axl in a post on the band's official Web site (www.gnronline.com). "Since we had so much fun playing Vegas last year, we've decided to do it again."

GN'R played its first show in seven years at the Joint in Vegas last New Year's Eve (allstar, Jan. 2). Other than a gig headlining the Rock in Rio festival in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil a few weeks later, the band has cancelled every other show it has since scheduled.
