Teddy Serkin Releases New Single 'Trying To Live' And EP 'Twins'

New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Up-and-coming coming blues-rock artist Teddy Serkin releases his latest single Trying to Live across all platforms August 6th.
The single mixes the grit and attitude of popular blues rock with an emotional core that soars in Trying to Live's choral back end. The song opens as it means to carry on. Starting with ethereal keys before plunging straight into the one-two of dirty guitars and claps that would feel at home on some of The Black Key's best.

Trying to Live follows on from the prolific artist's recent EP Twins. Released July 30th, the project sees Teddy Serkin expand his horizons thematically and sonically. Opening with soft-industrial influences on its first track Homeless Strange, synth-pop on Waterfall, and closing out with dazzling disco, Twins is a testament to the versatility of the artist and his command over different styles.

Despite Serkin's artistic range, music is a relatively new endeavour for the productive character. By day, Teddy Serkin PhD is an engineer, scientist, and university lecturer who has only been making music since 2020. Serkin also has years of experience as a racing driver, table tennis and football athlete, and skier. Quite the CV!
