Some Velvet Morning Make Waves With Vinyl Release Of Rough Seas LP And Weekly Music Videos
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Some Velvet Morning are debuting a vinyl release of their acclaimed album Rough Seas on 19/09/22. The physical release of the album will coincide with the premiere of weekly music videos for Ghosts (19/09/22), Good To See You (26/09/22), and Love Begins (03/10/22).

Some Velvet Morning are composed of Desmond Lambert (vocals, guitar), Rob Flanagan (drums), and Gavin Lambert (bass, vocals). To date, the band have enjoyed critical acclaim and their music has featured in major films, television, and commercials. Fans of the band may recognise them from musical appearances across The Grand Tour, the Kick-Ass film trailer, Sky Sports, and the BBC's 2020 Euro Highlights. Rough Seas' original digital release in March 2021 saw the single "Good To See You" become a regular fixture across sporting events to celebrate the return to in-person competition.

The vinyl's accompanying weekly video releases kicks off with the album's opening track "Ghosts". The single blends country music spirit and sensibilities with the band's signature modern pop-rock power. The single swells acoustic elements across whoops, hand claps, and guitar, for a powerful track in the vein of Fleetwood Mac's "The Chain". The "Ghosts" video embraces the stripped-back nature of the song, with a simple yet stylish look at the band playing the track in a barn.

The album's further videos embrace other elements of the band's sonic palette. "Good To See You" has kinetic editing and the cool saturated visuals mirror an unapologetic modern rock anthem that revels in stadium sounds, with hints of disco inspiration. The "Love Begins" black and white video leans into Some Velvet Morning's more tender sound on the record's major ballad.
'Rough Seas', co-produced by Coldplay's producer Rik Simpson, is available across all platforms digitally now and on vinyl from 19/09/22.
