Grammy-Nominated Singer/Songwriter Amy Allen Signs Worldwide Admin Deal With Warner Chappell Music
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Warner Chappell Music (WCM) has signed a global admin deal with acclaimed singer/songwriter Amy Allen. A highly sought-after hitmaker, Allen has written top singles for Harry Styles ("Adore You," "Matilda"), Halsey ("Without Me," "Graveyard," "Be Kind"), Selena Gomez ("Back to You"), and Lizzo ("If You Love Me"), to name a few.

Notably, Allen just became one of the very first songwriters to be nominated for the newly established "Songwriter of the Year" category at the 65th Annual GRAMMY Awards, and she also received a nomination for Album of the Year (Special, Harry's House).

On signing with Warner Chappell Music, Amy Allen shared: "I'm beyond excited to be joining the Warner Chappell family in this next chapter of my songwriting career. It's an incredible feeling to work with creatives who push you to be better, and who wholeheartedly believe in you, so I feel especially grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with the legendary Ryan Press, and of course my partner in crime, Gabz Landman, who has been with me from the very beginning."

Warner Chappell Music President, North America, Ryan Press, said: "Amy has made a name for herself in pop music, helping to pen many of the genre's biggest hits. Her recent Grammy nomination for the first-ever 'Songwriter of the Year' Award is a huge, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and an incredible moment for her. We're so proud to be on this journey together at such an exciting and pivotal time in her career."

Hailing from Portland, Maine, Amy Allen started writing songs when she was 10 years old. She pursued her passion for songwriting at Berklee College of Music where she honed her writing skills. Post-graduation, Allen formed the band Amy & The Engine, and started working with top songwriter Scott Harris. In 2018, she co-wrote Halsey's RIAA-certified 9x platinum and Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 hit, "Without Me" - in addition to co-writing Selena Gomez'sBillboard Top 40 track "Back To You." Since then, she has worked with some of the biggest names in music, including King Princess, Niall Horan, Justin Bieber, Camila Cabello, Shawn Mendes, and Sam Smith. She also collaborated on Harry Styles' RIAA-certified 5x platinum smash "Adore You," which landed him his first Ivor Novello award in addition to his first No. 1 hit on Billboard's Pop Songs Radio Airplay and Adult Contemporary Radio Airplay charts.

Allen embarked on her own solo career in 2020, releasing her standout singles "Queen of Silver Linings" and "Heaven." That same year, she was recognized on Forbes' coveted 30 Under 30 list. In 2021, Amy Allen went on to win a prestigious Ivor Novello Award for her work on "Adore You" and later that year, released her debut solo EP AWW! Most recently, Allen co-wrote Styles' heartbreaking ballad "Matilda," which debuted on the top 10 in the Billboard Hot 100 chart. She also helped pen the original song "My Mind & Me" for the documentary Selena Gomez: My Mind & Me alongside WCM writer Michael Pollack, which was released earlier this month. In addition, "10:35" by Tiesto and Tate McRae, which she co-wrote, is currently charting globally.
