New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Jeanick Fournier, the winner of the first season of Canada's Got Talent (2022) on Citytv and one of this year's biggest breakthrough Canadian artists, releases her rendition of Lady Gaga's "
I'll Never Love Again" from A Star is Born via Universal
Music Canada. The single release comes just days ahead of Jeanick's journey on America's Got Talent:
All Stars as a contestant, premiering on Monday, January 2 at 8 p.m. ET on CTV2.
"I'm sharing this song because of the depth of its story - this way of expressing the pain of love, I know many people can relate to it. The story of this film touched my heart," says Jeanick about the new single. "During a recent trip to Toronto, my team at Universal
Music Canada helped me choose this song as my next release, in addition to introducing me to a vocal coach with whom I still learned a lot. Another magical moment!"
This is Jeanick's take on the GRAMMY Award-winning song of the same title from Lady Gaga, featured in the 2018 film A Star is Born. "
I'll Never Love Again", produced by
Milano and
Aaron Paris, marks the first release from the breakthrough Canadian artist since her self-titled album arrived earlier this year via Universal
Music Canada, featuring her first Top 10 single at Québec radio, "Ça ira", original song "
Moment", and her stunning rendition of Céline Dion's "
I Surrender", which kicked off her Canada's Got Talent journey with the coveted Golden Buzzer from host
Lindsay Ell. She ended up winning the competition before signing with Universal Music.
The 50-year-old breakthrough star is being celebrated as Canada's newest pop diva, debuting at #1 in Québec and #13 on the Billboard Canadian albums chart with her self-titled album. Jeanick Fournier has also spent multiple consecutive weeks at #1 on ADISQ's Top Anglophone Album from a Québec-Based Artist chart.
After showcasing her talents to the nation as the winner of Canada's Got Talent, Jeanick is now set to bring her angelic voice to the world as a contestant on America's Got Talent: All Stars, premiering on January 2, 2023 at 8 p.m. ET on NBC and CTV2.
"It is quite an honour to have been chosen for this show," says Jeanick about America's Got Talent: All Stars. "I feel extremely privileged, grateful, and very proud to represent my country. My life is unbelievable!"
