Chance The Rapper & Star Line Gallery Collaborators (Nikko Washington, Yannis Davy Guibinga, Mia Lee) Featured At EXPO Chicago April 13-16
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Chance the Rapper has joined EXPO Chicago, The International Exposition Of Contemporary & Modern Art, for the second year in a row, showcasing his latest interdisciplinary art pieces. The following collaborations are on display at the Expo, April 13 - April 16: "A Bar About A Bar" by Nikko Washington, "The Highs & The Lows" by Yannis Davy Guibinga, and "YAH Know" by Mía Lee. In addition to these works being on display, Chance will also premiere a series of live audio experiences of never before heard musical renditions of his recent music.

Chance the Rapper is currently on a path of intertwining the worlds of art, music, and cinematography through groundbreaking work and installations, as he prepares to release Star Line Gallery this year. The project contains a series of interdisciplinary works in collaboration with fine artists from The Continent and The Diaspora. The resulting pieces redefine the notion of 'album art' and are compelling conversations and meditations on Black life. Star Line Gallery works "Child of God" (collaboration with Gabonese artist and painter Naïla Opiangah), "A Bar About A Bar" (collaboration with Chicago-based painter Nikko Washington and filmmaker Troy Gueno), "The Highs & The Lows" feat. Joey Bada$$ (collaboration with Gabonese photographer Yannis Davy Guibinga), and "YAH Know" (collaboration with Chicago-based visual artist Mía Lee) have been showcased at art institutions around the world including Expo Chicago, Art Basel, Chicago's Museum of Contemporary Art (MCA), The Art Institute of Chicago, and Los Angeles' Museum Of Contemporary Art (MOCA).

Later this month, Chance's classic Acid Rap mixtape turns 10 years old. The project became a cult classic after being released on free streaming sites during the SoundCloud era, and reached #5 on Billboard when released on DSPs years later.

Earlier this year, Chance the Rapper and Vic Mensa launched their inaugural Black Star Line Festival, a five-day music, art, and culture event in Accra, Ghana. The historic debut drew in over 52,000 fans globally, all with the goal of celebrating Black culture and the Diaspora on the continent. Performers included Erykah Badu, Dave Chappelle, T-Pain, Jeremih, Sarkodie, Tobe Nwigwe, Asakaa Boys, M.anifest and more.
