Mae Muller Announces Debut Album 'Sorry I'm Late Out' September 15, 2023
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Today, rising pop superstar Mae Muller announces the release of her hugely anticipated debut album, Sorry I'm Late: a message to her fans that have stuck by her during a period of growth and self-discovery.

A bold voice for a frustrated generation, Mae Muller makes pop music that packs a real punch, and her debut album is no exception. The 17 track LP is full of songs that are deeply personal yet demonstrate her deft ability to celebrate the female experience at large, capturing the mood of her generation with playful precision. Mae explores love and loss, dating and relationships with fearless honesty, confronting her own experiences whilst also capturing the broader frustrations of young women today. Whilst a fierce feminism often informs her songwriting, her new music exposes a much more vulnerable side. Sorry I'm Late is a love letter to the multiplicity of women.

Speaking about the record Mae says, "I'm so excited about the album coming out! I can't wait for the fans that have stuck by me from the beginning to hear the record, and for those that have been so supportive on my Eurovision journey to hear more music. I'm really showing a different side of myself on this album: a vulnerable one, one that I haven't spoken about before. I can be strong, sassy, confident, and I can also be sad and have my low moments, but I'm still me…. it's just as empowering to show both sides."

Beginning a dynamic new era, 2023 has been an incredible year for Mae. In January she was chosen to represent the UK at the 67th Eurovision Song Contest in Liverpool with dance-pop anthem, "I Wrote A Song". Following the show, the track became the No.1 trending song in the UK and charted Top 10 this week, giving Mae her first top 10 single. I Wrote A Song follows the release of the late 2022 single "I Just Came To Dance" — a gorgeous piece of pop escapism and the platinum-certified smash hit "Better Days" (a US chart-topping collaboration with NEIKED and Polo G) - all three tracks feature on Sorry I'm Late.

Over the summer Mae will play several festivals including Truck festival, Brighton Pride and Sundown Festival (full dates below) and tours the UK throughout November, which includes a show at London's Roundhouse on November 23rd.
