New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Sam Amidon performed live at The Blasket Centre - Ionad an Bhlascaoid in West Kerry, Ireland, as part of Anam: Songs for Hearts and Minds, a multi-artist series that streamed via Other Voices. Amidon performed songs from his latest release, his 2020 self-titled album, to his 2013 Nonesuch debut, Bright Sunny South, and more.

This coming weekend, Sam Amidon is joined by special guests Beth Orton and Meskerem Mees to perform re-imagined versions of songs from Harry Smith's The Anthology of American Folk Music at Ancienne Belgique in Brussels on Sunday, as part of a three-day celebration marking Smith's centenary. Amidon performs from Smith's beloved and influential Anthology of American Folk Music on Fatal Flower Garden EP (A Tribute to Harry Smith), a four-track 7" vinyl record released on Nonesuch in 2019. Orton, Amidon's wife, contributes vocals to three tracks on Amidon's latest album, his self-titled 2020 release.
