Katie Blackwell Aspiring Singer/Songwriter Actress Releases New Single "Too Bold?"

New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Molloy University Cap 21 Musical Theatre (New York NY) student and producer Rick Del Castillo (Smilin' Castle Studios) protégé Katie Blackwell releases her newest single "too bold?". A deeply personal exploration of making the emotionally charged decision to pursue a romance even though there is little to no chance of it moving forward.
"too bold?" showcases Katie's songwriting abilities through original lyrics that present the left brain, right brain decision making process resident within all of us. It's easy to relate to as the song shares the compelling logic that fuels such daring moves while at the same time questions the boldness required that goes along with it.

"too bold?" also includes the masterful lead guitar work of world class guitarist and Grammy member Rick Del Castillo. Rick remarks, "I've been working with Katie Blackwell since she was ten years old. She's always had a great voice and attitude, eager to work and learn. I knew even back then that she was special and going places." This is Katie's sixth single in as many years. "too bold?" is available for air play now.

Currently Katie is honing her skills at the CAP 21 Musical Theatre program at Molloy University which has been home to many notable major stars both in audio and on stage including Lady Gaga, Nikki M. James, Matthew Morrison, Kristen Bell and Anne Hathaway. Since as long as anyone can remember, Katie was always going about her daily life singing and expressing herself theatrically. There was an inherent quality combined with a special sparkle that enveloped this young expressive child. Professionals agreed and history is in the making.
