3 Musicians Who Got Their Start On Youtube
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) People will come and go in the music industry, in the world of social media and whoever is popular on YouTube. How did they get there? Some do stay popular after their big hit. Does music shape the music industry? How do they get popular on YouTube? What did they do? We look at three musicians who got their start on YouTube in this guide.

The Musicians

We all know how big Justin Bieber is now, and what he is now, but how did he get there? How did he become one of the biggest pop stars? All through YouTube. How was that possible, how did he go from playing to small locals to then becoming a huge star and celebrity? Most people know 'Baby' by Justin Bieber, which is just about everywhere. Most people were playing the song, and it still is a very famous song. Remember when he had just first started and there was a huge fan base over him, or when people in school said if you like Justin Bieber you had 'Bieber Fever'. He has since grown and changed his ever-growing music style and he took a break from music to focus on himself

Madison Beer, was a small singer with only around 3 videos on her YouTube, and at the time was only 13 years old which is very young to be put into the spotlight. Justin Bieber posted a tweet saying 'Great job. #futurestar" back in 2012. Since then, she has grown in popularity and gained a bigger fanbase while developing her style. She got it when Justin Bieber posted one of her covers, since Bieber was a big star with a very large following, millions of people saw her video. This meant that she got started out just by posting her covers. Some of her big songs are 'Villain' featuring K/DA, League of Legends, and Kim Petras; 'Baby'; All Day and Night featuring Jax Jones and Martin Solveig and Reckless.

Charlie Puth, who got big through YouTube, was already developing into a singer-songwriter. He decided at age 18 to start his own YouTube channel which was called Charlie Vlogs. He became so popular that Ellen DeGeneres and others had noticed him. Soon after that, he became bigger and released songs such as One Call Away; Marvin Gaye featuring Meghan Trainor; We Don't Talk Anymore featuring Selena Gomez and finally, the most popular song he has ever done - See You Again Featuring Wiz Khalifa.

What is YouTube?

What is YouTube? Why is YouTube so popular for music covers? Well, it is free to upload and start your channel, YouTube allows you to be seen by millions, all you have to do is interest people that will click on the video. YouTube has around 2.70 billion active users as of 2023, this creates such a large target and gives you an opportunity to be seen.

YouTube has everything on it. You can find videos about pranks, music covers, how to edit videos, makeup tutorials, conspiracy theories and so much more. Editing videos using quality video editing software for YouTube is very important. When viewers watch videos, you have to keep them entertained and want them to keep watching and/or watch more of your videos. The better-edited videos are more popular as they are visually appealing to the eye, and that can draw more people as well as keep their attention.

If you google 'how to get famous on YouTube', you find several articles saying to post regularly, to engage with the audience, and to post at certain times.  When on YouTube, to gain more followers you should post around certain times when people are more likely to be on their phones. It can also depend on targeting your target audience and appealing to them.

Did YouTube shape the music industry?

Did YouTube shape the music industry? What part does YouTube play in the music industry? How does YouTube do this? YouTube has had a very significant impact on the music industry since it was launched in 2005. It has now since changed the way that people discover music, as well as how artists can promote their work and interact with their fans. YouTube Is one of the main ways artists promote their music and it is where people can listen to the music for free.

Small artists can put their music on YouTube and have a bigger chance to be discovered by people giving them a bigger audience. People can hear different versions of covers from artists which creates more unique songs and creativity all on YouTube. Here are the best covers of all time.

This has made it easier for people to discover new artists and genres that they may not have heard of before. YouTube is the place where artists release their new music videos, live performances and other music-related content, which gives fans easier access to their favourite songs and artists.
