New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Africa's hottest global music superstar Ayra Starr unveils her brand-new track "Rhythm & Blues" today. The soulful Afrobeats track marks a new chapter for the hotly-tipped singer-songwriter, who is ready to unleash a new body of work following the huge success of her singles "Bloody Samaritan," "Rush" and "Sability."

"Rhythm & Blues" is a mood-setter, glowing with Ayra Starr's signature warm vocal tones and buoyed by a gentle rhythmic beat to create the perfect late-summer soundtrack. The evocative love song is co-written by Ayra Starr and Novemba and is produced by Sparrq.

Since debuting in 2021, Ayra Starr has quickly become one of this generation's most undeniable new voices in music. Renowned for her anthemic Afrobeats tracks and unapologetic style, the Beninese-Nigerian artist has amassed critical acclaim from tastemaker press including Variety, Fault Magazine and Teen Vogue, which recently featured her on their cover, as well as a huge international following with over 1 billion global streams.

Following the release of her defining debut album "19 & Dangerous," her position as Africa's hottest rising star has seen Ayra Starr tapped for collaborations with some of music's biggest names including Wizkid, Stormzy, Kelly Rowland, Tiwa Savage and Leigh-Anne, to name just a few.

Ayra Starr is currently embarking on her first headline tour, the "21: The World Tour" with 37-dates, spanning North America, Africa, Australia and Europe.

Ayra Starr rapidly ushers Afrobeats forward with soul, style, and spirit. On her own terms, she has skyrocketed from humble beginnings from the beach city of Cotonou, Benin Republic and the cultural hub of Lagos, Nigeria, to worldwide renown as one of the most influential African female artists of the modern era, streaming north of 1 billion times. She has gained major traction over the last few years but has vaulted to the forefront of Afrobeats with 2022's "Rush." The latter has already posted up over 800 million global streams and attracted R&B icon Kelly Rowland on a high-powered remix. Recognized as a phenomenon in 2023, she notably garnered a nomination for "Best International Act" at the BET Awards as well as two MTV VMA nominations in the category of "Best Afrobeats Song" for both "Rush" and WizKid's "2 Sugar" [feat. Ayra Starr]. Beyond praise from UPROXX, Variety, Conde Nast Traveler and more, she has also graced the covers of Teen Vogue and FAULT Magazine. Signed to Mavin Records, this next chapter promises to be her biggest era yet ignited by the single "Rhythm & Blues." With more music on the horizon, Ayra Starr will undoubtedly inspire.
