Celebrating the 40th anniversary of their groundbreaking album Synchronicity this year, the iconic new wave trio, consisting of Sting, Andy Summers, and Stewart Copeland, will be sharing original content, delving into the archive with never before seen footage and inviting the global TikTok community #BehindtheSong with an intimate window into the creative process of their timeless hits.
With a unique blend of punk, reggae and new wave that still resonates today, fans on TikTok will follow a journey through the band's storied career, which has included classics like Roxanne, Every Breath You Take and Message in a Bottle.
The group is already hugely popular with the TikTok community, with "
Every Breath You Take" (165,000+ total creations) the subject to a number of viral TikTok trends as users love placing the song against a backdrop of different situations, from sharing their cute pet moments to working out at the gym and dancing with friends. "
I'll Be Missing You", which samples the iconic track has also had communities around the globe paying homage to the late great The Notorious B.I.G.
