Lainey Wilson made history at the inaugural 2023 People's Choice Country Awards dominating half of the overall 12 categories with a collective six wins. The first-ever fan voted event was held
September 28 in Nashville, TN at the Grand Ole Opry.
Eight-time nominee
Jelly Roll received some of the night's biggest honors taking home the most awards of any artist including Male Artist of the Year, New Artist of the Year, and Song of the Year for 'Need A Favor'. He also received nominations for Album of the Year for Whitsitt Chapel and
Music Video of the Year for 'Need A Favor'.
Seven-time nominee
Lainey Wilson was also the recipient of several of the evening's top awards including Female Artist of the Year and
Music Video of the Year for 'wait in the truck'. She also received nominations for People's Artist of the Year, Album of the Year for Bell Bottom Country, and both Song of the Year and Collaboration Song of the Year for 'wait in the truck'.

Lainey Wilson were also awarded Collaboration Song of the Year for their Platinum-certified single 'Save Me', co-written by Jelly Roll, as a BMG songwriter.
BMG songwriter Austin Nivarel also earned his first People's Choice award for co-writing the Song of the Year, 'Need A Favor', with Jelly Roll.
In total, both BMG recording artists and songwriters received an astounding 23 People's Choice Country Awards nominations across 10 of the collective 12 categories.
