Evelyn Rubio Wows In Las Vegas!
Houston, TX. (Top40 Charts) Songwriter artist sax player actress Evelyn Rubio performed at The Dispensary Lounge with The Uli Geissendoerfer Trio on December 7th and sat in with tenor great Ken Young (Unc And The Nephews) at Mariposa's on the 8th.
Among those in attendance were Las Vegas Blue Society members Mike and Pamela Araiza and Texas venue entrepreneurs Joe and Angie Flores of Ego's Restaurant & Entertainment Center.
Returning to Houston Ms. Rubio recorded at Wire Road Studios teaming with songwriter artist Rusty Gear. Recording engineer Andy Bradley was at the helm and presented the pair with a full compliment of top rated session musicians.
On December 16th Ms. Rubio was notified by KPFT's Songwriter's Studio show host Tom Tranchilla that her "Because I Want To" number had been chosen as one of the best songs aired in 2023.
Evelyn is currently completing another recording project with details to be announced in January.
