New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Always on the move, singer/songwriter Grammy member Mia Suzanne Walker announces four new projects this month. Just released, Mia's new Latin Pop version of her popular Ice & Fire single is available in both Spanish or English versions and will now spin even more in Mexico, South America and Spain along with the heavily Hispanic populated communities within the United States such as Miami. In addition, Mia just completed participating in the Dolby Atmos mixing process on the new release which has found a home on multiple Atmos only playlists. Never the one to sit still, Mia and husband Bill will host Theatre Suburbia's Back Porch Entertainment segment in Houston Texas. Mia will also be supporting the humanitarian cause of ending human trafficking at the Fight For Freedom Initiative also in Houston. Mia shares, "Today's music world invites global listenership which motivates the artist to release their work in more than one language. Ice & Fire has been received well. It seemed like the perfect time and the right song to translate into Spanish. We also changed the genre from bossa nova blues to Latin Pop salsa and added the skills of Marc Anthony's trumpet player Gerardo Francisco. Beyond that, the industry is evolving with sonics too moving toward a more complete immersive sound such as can be enjoyed with Dolby's Atmos for music mixing process. In addition, artists need to find audiences that are out and about in such places as community theatre and not just in music venues. This belief has led us to participate in Theatre Suburbia's new intermission entertainment segment. Finally, social issues are basically social ills and we want to help eradicate human trafficking especially in our own community. So we are teaming with the Fight For Freedom cause in Houston and it feels fantastic." For more information: www.suzannesband.com
