Jeanette Berry Set To Release Soulful Rendition Of Classic Jazz Tune "I Wish You Love"
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Renowned jazz vocalist Jeanette Berry is set to captivate audiences once again with the release of her latest single, "I Wish You Love." This soulful rendition of the American version of Charles Trenet's classic "Que reste-t-il de nos amours ?" pays homage to the timeless essence of jazz while infusing Berry's unique style and passion.

Drawing inspiration from her love for the simplicity and profound message of the original song, Berry embarked on a journey to reimagine it with a touch of drama and soul. Despite her background in jazz, Berry chose to focus on her original music after college. However, the pandemic-induced hiatus provided her with the perfect opportunity to revisit her roots and craft a jazz record that reflects her artistic vision.

Recorded at Virtue and Vice studios in Brooklyn with a band of seasoned musicians, "I Wish You Love" emanates impeccable vibes that are bound to resonate with listeners. Produced by Dezron Douglas and recorded by Willie Green, the single showcases Berry's exceptional talent as both a vocalist and arranger.

Born and raised in Westbury, NY, to musician/educator parents, Berry's musical journey began at a young age. She honed her craft at the Long Island High School for the Arts and the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, where she studied Vocal Jazz Performance. Throughout her career, Berry has shared the stage with esteemed artists such as Tshidi Manye, Ms. Lauryn Hill, and Peter Nero, among others.

Beyond her impressive musical career, Berry is also a passionate advocate for independent musicians. During the pandemic, she joined the Music Workers Alliance, dedicating her efforts to supporting and empowering fellow artists.

"I Wish You Love" is not only a testament to Berry's musical prowess but also a celebration of the resilience and creativity of the independent music community. With its heartfelt lyrics and soul-stirring melodies, the single is sure to leave a lasting impression on jazz enthusiasts worldwide.
"I Wish You Love" will be available on all major streaming platforms on June 24.
