New York, NY (Top40 Charts) When you think of MUDFIGHT, you think of a new generation of pop-punks in the style of Green Day. Their debut album "Time For Revolution" has already been a huge success for the band, whose members are only in their early twenties.
"Drug Shack" is the band's brand new single, which will be released on May 24. A hymn to all those who are tired of bending for others. We often lose ourselves when we want to help other people. With Drug Shack, also a song absolutely in the
Green Day style, the Upper Austrian band stands for self-care and self-awareness.

Mudfight from Gmunden, Austria, show in an impressive way what can really be achieved with the often overused words "perseverance" and "authenticity" in the scene.
After releasing two EPs, the formation, which has now grown into a quintet, released an exclamation mark of a debut on SBÄM Records with "Time For Revolution" (2022)!
In addition to the professional songwriting and sophisticated arrangements, the debut album also surprises with a fat production that can easily compete with major releases. Not only fans of timeless pop-punk à la
Green Day or Blink-182, but also a far more diverse audience could be convinced of the band's quality with "Time for Revolution".
The young punks are now also putting on quite a show live:
Numerous concerts at home and abroad ensure an ever-growing fan community and the fact that they have already shared the stage with the likes of The Interrupters, Dropkick Murphys, NOFX, Rancid,
Flogging Molly and Turbobier speaks for itself. The omnipresent 90s nostalgia wave, which has taken hold of all areas of life, also plays into Mudfight's hands. They provide the perfect soundtrack for this revival by skillfully combining important themes and a strong attitude with the lightness and fun of the "pop-punk" genre that grew up in the 1990s.
Because the band is about more than just the music:
"With Mudfight, we are primarily fighting for individuality, freedom and acceptance in society. Whether emos, outsiders or queer people - everyone should feel comfortable in their own skin and be accepted 100% for who they are," says mouthpiece Max Nine with conviction. A refreshing message in times when the term "punk" has long since degenerated into the mainstream!
In 2024, Mudfight continue on their chosen path undeterred:
A cross-border tour with
Thomas Ian Nicholas (Attention dear "
American Pie" fans!) is on the agenda, as is a brand new album. Until the release, the waiting time will be sweetened with single releases and at the concerts in May/June and September/October you will already have the opportunity to try out the new material live.
