ATLANTA, GA. (Worship Leader Magazine) - David Crowder*Band, Passion, and Matt Redman are among the 2005 nominees in Worship Leader magazine's 5th annual Praise Awards. Winners will be selected online by popular vote and announced in the March/April 2006 issue of Worship Leader. PASSION: HOW GREAT IS OUR GOD is recognized in the Best Compilation category. The album was recorded live at the Passion '05 conference in Nashville, Tennessee, and features performances by David Crowder*Band, Charlie Hall, Matt Redman, Chris Tomlin, and others.

In the Best Worship Project category, A COLLISION by David Crowder*Band and BLESSED BE YOUR NAME: THE SONGS OF MATT REDMAN VOL. 1 by Matt Redman are both nominated.

David Crowder*Band's popular anthem, "Here Is Our King," is also nominated for Best Praise and Worship Song.

Worship Leader magazine holds the annual Praise Awards in order to, "point our readers in the direction of 'whatsoever things are honest... pure... lovely... of good report...' (Phil 4:8 KJV), a place where worship leaders can acknowledge and affirm the excellence of the artists who have devoted their talents to creating innovative ways for the Church to experience God."
