NEW YORK (Lava Records) - It's only the beginning of the holiday season and 2005 is already shaping up to be another massive year for Trans-Siberian Orchestra (TSO). Hot on the heels of their 2004 album release, "The Lost Christmas Eve," and their 2004 Top 10 grossing concert tour, TSO is taking over the holiday season, selling out arenas coast to coast such as New York's Madison Square Garden, Portland's Rose Garden, Detroit's Palace at Auburn Hills and Cleveland's Quicken Loans Arena - the latter of which they'll actually sell out three times.

The band's 2005 concert tour kicked off with complete sellouts in Lakeland, FL, Birmingham, AL, Johnson City, TN, Erie, PA, Wilkes Barre, PA & Youngstown, OH. Ticket sales are up 25% this year with 500,000+ tickets sold thus far for their 8 week trek. With December only weeks away, TSO's catalog already scanned over 50,000 CDs in the past few weeks alone. It's impossible to ignore the power of these numbers especially with upcoming performances on "Good Morning America" on Dec. 14th and "Regis & Kelly" on Dec. 15th as well as coverage in the New York Times Magazine, USA Today, Hollywood Reporter and Billboard Magazine.

"TSO is a dream band to work for," says William Morris' Marc Geiger. "They work hard, their audience grows every year and spans at least 3 generations. People feel great after they walk out of their show and they invest in their production and take the word 'show' to a rock and roll pinnacle!"

TSO's rapid rise to the top of the charts has incredibly taken just 7 years. According to Billboard, only one other band (The Eagles) drew more ticket-buyers over the 2004 six-month span covering the winter and spring - and TSO was on the road for only seven weeks during that time. Indeed, TSO might just be the biggest band you've never heard of - a statement that can almost be taken literally. The 25 or so members who compose the group's foundation are a combination of schooled rock performers, classically trained musicians and acclaimed vocalists culled from Broadway stages. This melting pot of talent is but one reason why TSO's symphonic rock has been praised as one of the most ambitious and unique sounds of modern time.

With their cutting-edge production and musical vision, TSO has become a holiday essential amongst music lovers attracting ages 7-70. The group has released three critically lauded albums as well as a DVD/Video, "The Ghosts of Christmas Eve." Their 1996 debut release, "Christmas Eve & Other Stories," which in 2004 remained at No 1 in the Top Catalog Chart for two straight weeks according to Billboard, is best known for producing the smash hit "Christmas Eve Sarajevo 12/24" which is still a staple at radio during the holiday season. It has since been certified double platinum and is annually one of the Top 5 Holiday Records in the U.S. Two years later the band continued its success with another radio hit "Christmas Canon" which was showcased on the 1998 platinum selling album, "The Christmas Attic."
In 2004 Trans-Siberian Orchestra released "The Lost Christmas Eve," which was Certified Gold in just 5 weeks. Each Christmas record is annually a Top Ten best selling holiday record as well as a Top Ten best selling catalog record in the United States (Billboard Magazine).
The Trans-Siberian Orchestra's concert tours have grown rapidly from year to year, by the end of 2005 TSO will have played live to over two million people and grossed over $75 million and morphed into two bands in order to further accommodate the demand from around the country.
