Fourth Daughter New Single "Look What You've Done" Out Now
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Scottish electro-pop artist Fourth Daughter (Emily Atkinson) is out now with her newest single "Look What You've Done" via Seeker Music's musicisfun label. Influenced by Rufus Du Sol, Jamie xx, and Sylvan Esso, the single is electronic dance goodness crossed with emotionally charged lyrics and textured beats.

Raised in the Scottish countryside and inspired by her dad's synth-heavy CD collection, Atkinson began playing piano at seven and eventually became classically trained. Discovering synths at university, she found "a world of open possibilities" on Pro Tools.

Her debut single "Say What You Want" premiered on BBC Radio Introducing in 2023, hitting #9 on the Hype Machine Chart and gaining support from BBC and Spotify. Her 2023 EP, HYPERREAL, combines themes of self-doubt and self-expression, for a therapeutic dancefloor experience.

With plenty of support slots under her belt including Sylvan Esso, Japanese House & SG Lewis, Fourth Daughter headlined a solo show in Glasgow in 2023 and performed on the BBC Introducing Stage at the Edinburgh festival. Celebrating her nomination as Scottish Act of the Year 2024, she will perform live on the BBC stage at Latitude Festival on Friday, July 26th.
