How The Music Industry Shaped The Casino Industry's Popularity Today
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) The relationship between music and entertainment has always been there, but since casinos and betting have become more and more popular people are starting to realize the importance that music has had on the industry.

As a music site, we have a lot of knowledge about music available for our readers, but we have never spoken about how music has helped other industries become as big as they are, and there are not as many industries as prevalent as betting.

Music Icons That Love Betting

One of the biggest crossovers between the two is the love that musicians have for gambling, both by playing the industry and writing songs about the many casino games that these sites offer.

When you look through celebrities who have been gambling or written songs about gambling, you will see the connection that the two have. Songs like The Winner Takes It All by Abba, Viva Las Vegas by Elvis Presley and Poker Face by Lady Gaga are all certified classics and are a good example of betting being popular in songwriting.

Musicians and Their Betting History

We think that the biggest gambler in music history is Frank Sinatra. Old Blue Eyes is one of the best singers in music history and some of the most iconic songs in music history were written from the pen of Sinatra.

Frank Sinatra was so much of a fan of betting in the 50s that he moved to Las Vegas. Although he loved gambling, his relationship with it wasn't great. He was known as a hothead and once lost $500,000 and set fire to the curtains of the casino then broke through the window with a golf cart. He may not be the best example but he did love gambling!

Although since the 50s betting has changed a lot, with most players using online betting, that doesn't mean his love for gambling was any different. In fact, we would venture to say that Sinatra's love for gambling is the highest of any musician as he couldn't use the best online casino UK sites, like BoyleSports, and instead, he had to move to a new state to play the games he loved.

As well as Frank Sinatra we have Lady Gaga who obviously wrote a song about gambling but also is known to play blackjack, poker and roulette on a regular basis. She has stated that gambling is a fun way for her to de-stress after a long week.

The Crossover Of Games and Music

With these two being so connected, as we have said, a lot of huge online slot games have used musicians as themes for their games. When you look at some of the biggest games that slot developers have made, you will see a large amount of musicians.

For example, Guns N' Roses has a major slot game which is a tribute to the band and their history. The game features some of the band's biggest songs like Sweet Child Of Mine, Paradise City and Welcome to the Jungle. The game also uses concert and band-themed symbols to make the game as related to the band as possible.

You also have Def Leppard: Hysteria which might be the best of the lot. This game again uses iconic songs from the band's history as themes for bonuses and other gestures in the game. One of the best things about this game is the way it matches the energy of the band's music and performances, making this game a must-play for fans of the band.
