Sydney, AU (Universal Music Australia) - On December 18, Lost Highway will release 29, the third new album from Ryan Adams this year. Adams' first two 2005 releases, Cold Roses (released in May) and Jacksonville City Nights (released in September), received high praise from the press and were considered Adam's best back-to-back releases as a solo artist. While both Cold Roses and Jacksonville City Nights were written and performed by Adams and his band The Cardinals¸ all nine tracks on 29, were written by Adams and mostly performed by Adams, producer Ethan Johns and guitarist JP Bowersock. Ethan Johns, who produced Adams' critically-acclaimed albums 'Heartbreaker' (2000) and 'Gold' (2001), returns as producer, as well as engineer and mixer. The minimalist arrangements and haunting tone of 29 are a departure from the full-band collaborations of Cold Roses and Jacksonville City Nights, thus showing us yet another side of Ryan Adams prolific nature. 29 Track Listing: '29' 'Strawberry Wine' 'Nightbirds' 'Blue Sky Blues' 'Carolina Rain' 'Starlite Diner' 'The Sadness' 'Elizabeth, You Were Born To Play That Part' 'Voices'
