NEW YORK, NY. (Columbia Records) - Coming off of a SOLD OUT Latin American Tour Ricky Martin will tour throughout the U.S. in January/February and continue to perform at the winter Olympics in Turin, Italy on February 22, before continuing throughout the world in 2006 and 2007.

"Starting my tour in Latin America was a natural thing, as Puerto Rico is my home and Latin America is my extended family, my heritage. Being back on stage was exhilarating, the concept that I created for this show is very powerful, it is all about the music and it reflects where I am at today, it represents my LIFE., the influences from around the world I encountered when recording this album and my whole life experience, as well as those I have met while traveling. I am very excited to bring the second leg of the tour to the US in January and February. We decided to go for more intimate venues than I have played in the past for one reason...to reconnect, to create a very special moment with each audience in each city and make it a night to remember."

Ricky Martin One Night Only, will take the performer to 18 cities across the United States in a four week period. Martin kicks off the tour in El Paso, Texas on January 15th and continues traveling throughout Texas, to the west coast, mid-west, east coast, and back to Florida where he will do a special performance for his Miami fans on Valentine's Day before concluding the U.S. leg of the tour in Orlando on February 15th.

Life, Martin's first English language album in 5 years, since his worldwide smash, Sound Loaded, debuted October 11th in the top ten of The Billboard 200.

"I believe this album is global. My dream is to unite lifestyles with my music. That's why I went from rock to Middle Eastern sounds, from Asian to hip-hop, from pop to Reggaeton, making it easy for people from all over the world to relate."

In addition to announcing the tour, Martin revealed that a portion of the value of each ticket will be donated directly to the Ricky Martin Foundation to fund its programs including People for Children (Martin's ongoing efforts to help fight child trafficking internationally), RMF Tsunami Relief Fund (Martin's partnership with Habitat for Humanity which builds houses for those affected by the Tsunami in Thailand) and various other local ongoing programs in Puerto Rico and throughout Latin America.
