Fiona Apple continues her extraordinary return with a Grammy nomination today for Best Pop Vocal Album for her critically acclaimed album Extraordinary Machine, released this past October by Epic Records.
Earlier this year, Extraordinary Machine debuted at No 7 and garnered Fiona her highest chart debut of her career. The album quickly ascended to the No 1 spot on the iTunes album chart that same week.
Fiona Apple is just wrapping up her first headlining tour in 6 years with two sold out dates tonight and tomorrow in Philadelphia at the Tower Theater and will close the tour in New York City on December 11 at the Nokia Theater. Fiona will make her debut on The Today Show on Monday December 12 performing the title track "Extraordinary Machine" and fan favorite "Paper Bag."
Fiona will return to the road in 2006 opening for Coldplay - see attached for dates.
