NEW YORK, NY. (Sundance Channel) - Comedian Whitney Cummings ("Best Week Ever" "Punk'd") returns to Sundance Channel as the host of "Festival Dailies," Sundance Channel's daily coverage of the 2006 Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah. The 2006 "Festival Dailies" will be produced by Park City Television for Sundance Channel and will report on the films and filmmakers of the 2006 Sundance Film Festival, providing TV viewers with an immediate and local sense of the Sundance Film Festival experience. The show will air as a nightly half-hour program on Sundance Channel from January 20th - 29th at 9pm EST.

Whitney Cummings covered the 2005 Sundance Film Festival for Sundance Channel's "Festival Dailies" and has recently appeared on David Spade's "The Showbiz Show." Cummings also was a series regular on VH1's "Best Week Ever," played a Field Agent for MTV's "Punk'd," and was a participant in E!'s "50 Most Outrageous TV Moments" and "101 Most Awesome Moments in Entertainment," as well as the "2004 MTV Movie Awards." She can also be seen performing stand up at The Laugh Factory, The Comedy Store and The Hollywood Improv. Whitney is managed by Barry Katz of New Wave Entertainment and represented Mike Schibel of AKA Talent Agency and Bernie Spektor at The Gersh Agency.

"Festival Dailies" will highlight the festival's films and filmmakers while also providing an inside perspective on what goes on behind the scenes in Park City. The shows will include onsite reporting from the festival's premieres and events while also providing an inside and decidedly local look at the way that the festival transforms Park City, Utah into one of the world's most prominent venues for emerging talent in film. Segments will include "The Scene," an exclusive look at the festival's late night parties and screenings and "Festival Mountain Expedition," which will feature independent film celebrities taking advantage of Park City's celebrated ski slopes.
