Cuban World Music Artist Roberto Poveda To Perform At 'Sundance Film Festival 2006' ASCAP Music Cafe

Miami Beach, FL (ALG Entertainment) - Singer / Songwriter Roberto Poveda will be a featured performer at this year's prestigious "Sundance Film Festival" ASCAP Music Café in Park City, Utah. The Music Café is located at The Star Bar, 268 Main Street. Poveda will be performing January 25 and 26.

"I am extremely excited and looking forward to sharing the stage with so many great talents. As a huge fan of the Cinema, I am honored and feel very privileged to have been asked to perform at such a prestigious event and gathering of such talented film makers..." comments Poveda.

Other artists that will be sharing the stage with Poveda include: 2 Foot Yard, Athlete, Augustana, Bird York, Brazilian Girls, Judy Collins, Rodney Crowell, Mike Doughty, Schuyler Fisk, Inara George, Darren Hayes from Savage Garden, Sarah Lee Guthrie & Johnny Irion, Imogen Heap, Kristin Hoffmann, Bruce Hornsby, Chris Janson, Lyfe, Margot & the Nuclear So & So's, Michael Penn, The Persephone's Bees, Robert Post, Martin Sexton, Darrell Scott, Sharon Stone & Friends, Rufus Wainwright, The Weepies, and Musicians from Wristcutters: A Love Story.

Poveda's album "Son Electrico" continues to gain NPR and College Radio airplay nationwide resulting in a loyal fan base who follows and yearns for his unique brand of Cuban Blues.
