DETROIT, MI. (diddyshousedetroit.com) - Super Bowl Weekend, Sean 'Diddy' Combs plans to throw the biggest Celebrity Bash of the year, sparing no expense.
In order to prepare for this event, Diddy has partnered with Executive One to pull off the most elaborate extreme renovation Detroit will ever see for a 3-day event. February 3-5, 2005, Detroit's Captain's Bar & Grille will be transformed into Diddy's House, billed as the largest entertainment venue to host a Super Bowl event in the Motor City. For an event of this caliber, The Captain's Bar & Grille, which originally had a maximum capacity of 700, will re-design and extend its floor plan to accommodate 2,500 VIP Super Bowl fans.
Preparations to host this event mirror those of a host committee for the Super Bowl. To ensure the satisfaction of the Diddy's House patrons, a logistics plan, comparable to a presidential motorcade, has been implemented. Responsive to the anxiety that 'out-of-towners' often experience when trying to navigate through congested and heavily restricted streets of an unknown city, such as Detroit, the logistics plan will include a non-stop shuttle service to the venue.

The weekend will commence, on Friday, with A Black Affair hosted by Young Jeezy. This exclusive all black affair will feature a live performance by UGK's Bun B. Then Saturday, Diddy's House will host Diddy's 5th Annual Players Ball. And Sunday, the star-studded celebrity bash weekend will culminate with Diddy's Diamonds & Furs, where NFL Great, Michael Vick will be on hand to host and give away a mink fur coat to one deserving male and female.

A portion of the proceeds from the 3-day event will benefit Detroit's St. John's Hospital and the Coalition of Temporary Shelter (COTS). Additionally, a Mackenzie High School student will receive a scholarship, courtesy of Diddy and Executive One.
Sponsors for Diddy's House include: Elite Car Company, Broadway Clothing and Manhood Grooming Gallery.

Diddy's House (formerly Captain's Bar & Grille) will be located at 260 Schweizer's Place (2 blocks East of the GM- Renaissance Center). Shuttle buses will run continuously from Chene Park's parking lot (5 blocks from Diddy's House). Tickets can be purchased under 'Diddy Celebrity Bash' at any Ticket Master outlet including Marshall Field's and FYE, the Elite Car Company (313-369-2277), City Slicker Shoes (313-963-1963), Executive One (313-340-1419), by logging on to www.ticketmaster.com (search 'Diddy Celebrity Bash') or by calling (248) 645-6666 to charge by phone. Individual admission tickets range from $150.00 for general to $300.00 and up for VIP admission, which includes an all-night buffet. Elite VIP packages are as follows: $12,000.00 for one night, 22,000.00 for two nights and $28,000 for the weekend. All Elite VIP packages include 10 VIP tickets, a $2,500 bar tab, a personal menu selection, a personal chef and waitress.
