MIAMI, FL. (Top40 Charts/ www.vimmusic.net) - Singer, songwriter, producer, multi-instrumentalist and multilingual... These are 5 words which describe Vonnell, a young artist who launches himself into the music industry with his debut album '31 de Febrero' (February 31), which comes from a rich, diverse and interesting angle; pop/rock, ballads, and songs with modern and exquisite Cuban as well as Brazilian energies.

"31 de febrero" has been considered by critics "a break through album". Singer/songwriter Vonnell joins forces with Brazilian guitarist Jucimar "Oliver" de Oliveira and the two-time Grammy-winner producer Roberto Morales, who has worked with industry names such as Enrique Iglesias and more. The result is a unique CD filled with fire and depth. You will clearly and rapidly notice Vonnell's new and fresh tenor voice as well as his incredible storytelling ability through his meaningful lyrics and harmonies. "This is not your typical Latin pop/rock album, it's only considered so because of the languages you'll hear (Spanish and Portuguese-which are just two of the five languages spoken by the young artist)" -as has been stated by musicians which have worked with Vonnell and have experienced the musicality and depth of his work. Vonnell was raised in the US after migrating from Cuba as a child in 1986 and has since been influenced by the sounds of Billy Joel, Phil Collins, and Elton John as well as jazz legends such as Charlie Parker, David Sanborn, Art Tatum, Oscar Peterson, and Brazil's Carlos Jobim and Djavan among others. He gives this album a powerful and musically filled punch which goes beyond the typical pop/rock sound, stretching the envelope and defining new "limits" in commercial music. Everything from sensual and flirtatious up-tempo songs, to thought provoking ballads is included in this album, as well as the saxophone and piano playing sounds of Vonnell himself (which is a rarity in its genre). Grammy-Winner and Producer Robert Morales is working together with independent Record Label VIMmusic to launch new artist: Vonnell with his debut Album.. Vonnell is rising to the top of record pools in Italy, New York, New Jersey, California and North Carolina. He He is also in rotation in numerous internet stations with the the first cut 'Cara de Caramelo'. More from Vonnell at www.vonnellonline.com.
