NEW YORK (CDNOW) - Green Day and Blink-182 are set to embark on a co-headlining North American spring and summer tour, according to representatives of both bands. No dates have yet been announced, as the final routing is still being arranged by the booking agency, but details should be revealed soon. The nine-week tour - of sheds in the U.S. and Canada - is expected to kickoff in mid-April and end in June. Blink-182 |
This will mark the first time the two Cali-based pop-punk bands will have toured together. Although the two groups will be co-billed, Green Day will perform last at the shows. As previously reported, Green Day is scheduled to play live at the Winter X-Games in Aspen on Jan. 19, with the band's performance set to air later on ESPN. The band also tours Japan from March 29 through April 4.
