NEW YORK (Top40 Charts) - The We Were Soldiers soundtrack comes out Feb. 26, days before the March 1 release of the Mel Gibson film. "We Were Soldiers," which stars Mel Gibson, Madeleine Stowe, Sam Elliott and Greg Kinnear, is due in theaters in March.

In addition to a Johnny Cash/Dave Matthews pairing, the set will feature contributions from: Patty Loveless, Travis Tritt, Brooks & Dunn, Lee Ann Womack, Trisha Yearwood, Jamie O�Neal with Michael McDonald, Train, Jars of Clay, Steven Curtis Chapman and CeCe Winans. Sony Nashville will release the project (most of the material is new).
