TORONTO, Ca (Canadian Press) - Nickelback were in Toronto over the weekend to help re-open the new Hard Rock Caf. Reporters sat down with a couple of the guys to get the whole story behind the on-going feud between themselves and fellow Canadian Matt Good. The feud began when Matt Good accused Nickelback in Chart magazine of being a carbon copy of Creed or Staind. In response Nickelbacks Chad Kroeger commented on Matt Good in a Rolling Stone interview. Chad is quoted as saying He's a Canadian artist who sells hundreds of thousands of records in Canada but couldn't sell shit in America, and since his fellow Canadian band went down to America and worked their asses off and did sell records, he thought it'd be OK to take some cheap shots at us. It's pathetic. Once you come to America and sell a million records in two months, suddenly you're a bad guy, a Creed rip-off. Ryan Peake spoke about the article, What it was was Chad speaking the way Chad does and it was reactionary. Mike Kroeger added, The net sum is, said something, shouldnt have said it, hurt feelings, this is what happens. And its over!
