Sydney, AU. (Universal Music Australia) - Jack Johnson is having a great week. His new album Sing-a-longs & Lullabies for the film Curious George Debuts at No 1 in the U.S album charts with sales in excess of 150,000 units. In addition, last night in LondonJack collected his first Brit Award for International Breakthrough Act.

Enhancing his number 1 US debut Jack Johnson makes Universal Music Group U.S history this week with the quantitly of digital albums sold! This album is the biggest selling single week album of any UMG album in history, amounting to 26% of total sales.

Joined on the album by his band (Adam Topol, Merlo Podlewski, and Zach Gill) Jack duets with 3 of the other songwriters (Ben Harper, G. Love and Matt Costa), and does a cover of the White Stripes' "We're Going to be Friends". Parents who watched Schoolhouse Rock on Saturday mornings when they were children will recognize Jack's take on the classic 'Three is a Magic Number' reinterpreted with "The 3 R's" as a call to protect the environment and Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle.

The Album 'Sing-a-longs and lullabies for the film Curious George' - was released nationally on February 11th 2006
Featuring the first track lifted from the album 'Upside Down'
