Sacramento, CA (Andreas Mario official website) - Andreas Mario, a singer and songwriter from Sacramento, CA, has released his brand new album "The ANDREAS MARIO Project". The CD contains 14 tracks of acoustic soulful jazz and blues with influences from Billy Holiday and Tom Waits to Janis Joplin. This new album is mixed by David Houston best known through the work with Jackie Green. Andreas is inspired by his father's love for music. 'I feel strongly about music and was an emotional child. Music is the language for emotions and emotions sowed my way in to writing music of my own,' Andreas remembers. 'I could talk about what's on my heart and mind and still do.' Born in Nuremberg, Germany, Andreas managed to gain great success and respect in the music community throughout Europe. 'I've been playing music in Europe professionally since the 80's as a solo artist and with a project called Taxi,' he says. 'I toured, recorded and worked as a singer in Munich, Berlin and Vienna, just to name a few cities.' Andreas recorded his first album in the studios of EMI Cologne and Frank Farian, best known for his work with Milli Vanilli. Now residing in the United States, Andreas has headlined the Sacramento premier jazz club, Sky Bar, as well as many other important venues in Nashville and Colorado. Furniture house IKEA hired him to play in their Sacramento grand opening in March 2006. And he opened for Salvador Santana ( Son of Carlos Santana) in 2005 in Sacramento CA. 'I am an artist to combine jazz and blues,' Andreas explains. 'It flows out of me with no borders. Like Elvis Presley, I see music not separated in styles. I intend to share my gift with as many people as possible, and feel part of the Universe at large when I play my music.' Andreas is walking an honest emotional line in his music; he writes straight from his heart and soul, combined with an acrobatic radio voice. 'I love to share my gift and intend to find recognition in many different countries continuing on right here and now.'
