Sydney, AU. (SONY BMG MUSIC Entertainment) - Pop starlet Tammin has announced on her forum that she has officially moved to Los Angeles to focus on her film career. Tammin's debut screen role is in the mermaid-romance flick 'Aquamarine', which premiered last night in the US (also starring JoJo and Claudia Karvan).

2006 is already shaping up as a huge year for Tammin - the pop star has said via a post on her official forum that she has officially moved into an apartment in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles to focus on her film career.

Tammin's big screen debut is in the Fox Film feature film 'Aquamarine', which premiered in the US last night. The teen romance flick is about two best friends who find a brokenhearted mermaid in the swimming pool of a deserted beach club and was shot in Queensland last year.
The film also stars JoJo, Sara Paxton, Emma Roberts and Claudia Karvan.
