Music Australia) - The Grates' highly anticipated debut album �Gravity Won't Get You High' hits the streets on April 8. Featuring the infectious new single, �19-20-20', currently on high rotation on radio stations across Australia, the LP is bursting with delicious Grates-flavoured enthusiasm. The single is released as an iTunes exclusive on March 14 and limited edition vinyl on March 18.

National Tour throughout April and May, taking in every capital city and, for the first time ever, hitting regional areas around the country.
The Grates' had audiences across the nation jumping 'higher higher' as they stole the show at every major festival over summer including the Big Day Out, Falls Festival, Homebake, Meredith and Southbound. Their national headline tour in December was sold out everywhere before doors opened, with hundreds of punters turned away.
The Grates are currently on tour in the UK as the main support for the Go! Team, where their happy-go-lucky attitude has been warming the hearts of squinny 'Numb Brits' in the freezing cold mother-country for the last month.
Next The Grates return to the scene of the crime, with three shows at SXSW including an official Artrocker showcase, the Filter Magazine party and the Aussie BBQ. SXSW was the catalyst that launched The Grates' international career last year, leading to Dew Process signing a deal with Interscope imprint Cherrytree to record and release their debut LP globally.
The Grates then tour the USA throughout March as the main support for We Are Scientists before returning home in April. Joining The Grates on tour in Australia is Perth's melodic quirky indie popsters, The Panda Band, who even wrote a song about Alana, and Brisbane's own distinctive three piece with abrasive energy and an instinct for pop, I Heart Hiroshima.
