NASHVILLE, TN (Carrie Underwood Official Website) - Carrie Underwood's past year has been an amazing one, filled with challenges and firsts. As of today, the year 2006 just got better as her touring plans have stepped up a notch. Underwood has been tapped to participate in the second leg of Kenny Chesney's 'The Road & The Radio' tour, which is shaping up as of one country music's biggest tours of the year. In addition to over 40 concert dates of her own through this fall, Underwood will perform on 20 Chesney shows June 1 through Labor Day weekend.

'I saw Kenny in concert when I was 16 years old,' says Underwood, 'and it's now a dream come true to be going on tour with him. As a record label mate, he has been very encouraging since my album came out and I have great admiration for him for all he's done in his career.'
