London, UK (Sony BMG Music Entertainment (UK)) - Hope of the States return to action with a brand new EP 'Blood Meridian' available as a limited edition 10" vinyl on April 3rd on Columbia Records.
The title track 'Blood Meridian', is a taster from the band's second album 'Left' which is set for release in June. 'Left' will be preceded by another new single in May.

'Blood Meridian' is a four minute blitzkrieg of anthemic crescendo, that shows the band stepping back into the spotlight with the heart and voice that people have come to expect from Hope of the States, whilst alluding towards the new dynamic sonic progression that is set to redefine and reinforce their position as a British tour de force in 2006. The EP is completed by non-album tracks 'Under The Wires', 'A Horse' and 'Drinkers On The Dry'. The 10" will be numbered and limited to 2000 copies only. The EP will also be available to download upfront from February 27th from all usual websites.
