Los Angeles, CA (KJ VIBE PRODUCTIONS) - Kat Jiménez has been given a residency at the very swanky French 75 Bistro in Burbank through March and April, turning Saturday nights into chill and oh-so sexy nights. Each Saturday from 8:00 to 11:30 pm Kat performs an amazing set of standards, including favorites from Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Peggy Lee, Nat King Cole, Frank Sinatra and the rest of the pack. She is accompanied by Stephen Donovan on piano and Randal Yamamoto on bass, two amazing musicians who complement Jimenez's sultry vocals. We all know Kat Jiménez from her latest reggae album, Nothin' but Love.' However, jazz music has always been a source of inspiration and discipline for this performing artist.

'Jazz music has always been an instrumental part of my journey with music. I began to write music only after I learned how to scat. Music theory meant nothing to me until I joined my high school's jazz choir. Jazz just makes sense and it feels good to sing it and to hear it…that's why it's timeless,' said Kat Jiménez.

In addition to Kat Jiménez on Saturday nights, Miles Mosley revitalizes the origins of jazz by returning to the spirit of the 20's and 30's on Friday nights. Robert Tom swings by with his cool vocals along with his young and talented trio on occasion as well.

There is no cover charge at French 75 Bistro in Burbank. To view Kat's current show schedule, visit www.kjvibe.com. Those wishing for more information or media interviews with the artists mentioned above should contact Betty Som.
