NASHVILLE, TN (NeedToBreathe Official Website) - Already one of the most critically-acclaimed new artists of the year based on the response to their upcoming debut 'Daylight,' new Lava /Atlantic/Sparrow band NEEDTOBREATHE got a huge wave of support from CCM magazine as they placed the band on the publication's April cover – definitely a rare moment for a brand new band. The April issue is is CCM's second annual '!' issue, which 'highlights the artists, music, trends, events, entertainment, activities and more that are '!' in and around the world of Christian music.' Kicking off the magazine's section entitled 'The Year of New Artists,' CCM chose NEEDTOBREATHE as the band to lead what they call the 'remarkable freshman class of 2006'. In addition to the cover and feature story, NEEDTOBREATHE is also CCM's Lead Review, in which, CCM editor Jay Swartzendruber states that "Simply put, 'Daylight'... would make a good "best of" album for a lot of other bands."
