KINGSTON, Jamaica (S.H.E.M. Music Productions) - S.H.E.M. Music Productions officially launches Friday, May 19, 2006 at the Jamaica Pegasus in Kingston, Jamaica.

The new label's principals are award winning reggae singer and producer Singing Melody, and Michael Steer, a leading industry music producer.
The launch will also feature the release of the compilation album 'Time for Love' and the new single and video from L.U.S.T. 'Hardware.'
There will be special performances by Singing Melody, L.U.S.T., Morgan Heritage, Courtney 'Yogie' John, Lymie Murray, Lenn Hammond, Heather Cummings, Lukie D, Trilla U, Anthony Cruz, Brando, Richie Stephens and Turbulence.

The launch will be streamed on the Internet at 9:00 PM on www.firestream.tv to more than one million reggae fans around the world (click on the S.H.E.M. Album Launch channel to view the concert). Viewers will be able to purchase music from the album as well as the single and video from L.U.S.T. during the concert.

Three hundred business and entertainment industry professionals, executives and reggae fans are expected to attend, along with representatives from the international and local press.
GoTel Communications, a Kingston-based fixed wireless provider, is a major sponsor of the launch.

'GoTel is proud to be a sponsor of the formal launch of L.U.S.T.'s first single "Hardware" on their new album to be released later this year , says Undel Williams 'That is going to be one of the biggest hits for Summer 2006, in the Caribbean, Canada, USA, UK and Europe,' he said.

Rough Rider, makers of the No 1 condom is another major sponsor. 'We are pleased to be associated with S.H.E.M. Music Productions in the production of the L.U.S.T music video. We believe that by demonstrating the willingness to use a condom sends a powerful message of taking responsibility for one's actions,' said one executive.

Other sponsors include Cooyah Clothing, Natures Springs Water, Twisted Clothing, PG Express, Alternative Music, BroadVision, XKLUSIV Entertainment, 3D by Dexter Pottenger, Pot of Gold, Firestream.tv, Team Willo, Tent City and Black Opal Cosmetics.
Cocktails will be at 7:30 PM at the Pegasus Poolside, and performances start at 8:30 PM.
