Gavin DeGraw, a New York born singer/songwriter/pianist/guitarist released his debut album Chariot on J Records in 2003, which has since produced 3 hit singles, "I Don't Want To Be," "Chariot" and "Follow Through." Chariot, a remarkably accomplished and compelling first effort, introduced the world to a vital, magnetic young artist whose abundant talent and charisma originally drew hometown fans to his live shows.
Gavin released a digital single entitled "We Belong Together," a featured track from the Tristan & Isolde film campaign. The single was certified gold this March.
Gavin released a fan driven project, entitled Chariot Stripped, an acoustic re-recording Chariot, showcasing the growth and energy these tracks garnered from DeGraw's constant touring over the last 2 years.
His album has since sold platinum and DeGraw has been selling out headlining dates, with venue size increasing consistently, presenting his intimate, emotionally intense live performance to SRO audiences, as well as on major national television shows such as Late Show With David Letterman, Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Good Morning America, and The Ellen DeGeneres Show, among others. His songs have been featured in many television shows, most notably his hit single, "I Don't Want to Be" as the theme song for the WB hit, "One Tree Hill."
