London, UK (Sony BMG Music Entertainment UK) - The BBC will be airing a number of Bruce Springsteen programs this coming weekend. They centre largely around the intimate performance of the We Shall Overcome: The Seeger Sessions album which Bruce performed on May 9th in London at St Luke's Chapel. The show formed the bulk of The Observer's weekend review feature, which you can read at observer.guardian.co.uk (even if they entirely omit any reference to the BBC's involvement...). BBC4 will be the first to broadcast, at 10pm on Friday 19th May, repeated at 1.50am a few hours later. They follow the show with an airing of the famous 1975 Hammersmith Odeon show at 11pm. In addition, you can watch a 20 minute highlights package from the St Luke's performance through interactive TV (press the red button whilst on any BBC channel), and online at www.bbc.co.uk/radio2, up until 4am on Sunday May 21st... For those without digital television, BBC2 show the St Luke's show at 11.40pm on Saturday 20th.
