DETROIT, MI. (Blue Flamingo/ Quarterback Records/ www.markmcguinn.com) - Blue Flamingo/Quarterback Recording Artist Mark McGuinn recently had to prove he really was Mark McGuinn after losing his license a few days before his flight out of Nashville. Mark was on his way to Michigan for radio interviews with WYCD in Detroit, WFBE in Flint, WITL in Lansing, WTNR in Grand Rapids and WMUS in Muskegon, all in support of his new single "Deep," when he suddenly realized he had lost his license and had no way of boarding the plane. He had called his record label telling them the problem, but Mark said, "Don't worry; I think I can get on the plane anyway." And that is just what he did. Mark pulled out of his carry on the only form of photo identification that he had - his recent album, One Man's Crazy. Although Mark had missed his original flight, he managed to convince security in enough time to catch the second flight to Detroit about an hour later. Like the title track says, "One man's crazy is another man's cool."
