Blood Red Velvet's New Album 'Tension of Opposites' Released to Stores Nationwide

New Orleans, LA (DELVIAN RECORDS) - Delvian Records announced the retail release of Blood Red Velvet's latest album titled "Tension of Opposites." Available immediately in iTunes and Real Rhapsody, the physical album is available at all major retailers. This is Blood Red Velvet's third album and it builds on their well-received and successful previous albums, "Romeo's Bones" and "Born Among The Ruins." Very favorably compared to REM, The Cure and Smashing Pumpkins, Blood Red Velvet's alternative sound and intensity of feeling will be welcomed by all alt rock fans.

Blood Red Velvet is also one of New Orleans' only surviving and thriving alt rock bands. For "Tension," the lead singer Bruno Steiner wanted to bring a deep element to the album that not only reflected the devastation of Hurricane Katrina but also the resilient and powerful spirit of survival. "The lushness and thickness of the sound was something I was looking for in order to intensify the layers of a deeply human feel to this album," said Steiner.
