NASHVILLE, TN. (GreatGunsBand.com) - Country music band GREAT GUNS won their 6th WAMI (Wisconsin Area Music Industry) Country Group of the Year award! The 26th annual WAMI awards show was Monday, May 22nd, at the Northern Lights Theater.

Great Guns was also nominated for SONG OF THE YEAR - WHAT I'LL DO, and Tracy Stefans of Great Guns was nominated for MALE VOCALIST. Watch for the soon to be released Beacon Records debut cd from Tracy Stefans titled COUNTRY AT HEART.

Great Guns members Tracy Stefans (Lead Vocals), Dave Brees (Bass Guitar) and Andy Boucher (Keyboards), have joined forces with 3 new members to reload Great Guns. Jackie James is the "new girl" on the block playing fiddle and sharing lead vocals with Tracy. John Getner joins Great Guns as lead guitar player extrordinaire. Gary Miller is the new heartbeat of Great Guns on the drums. By reforming and adding these talented musicians Great Guns is ready to re-emerge as Wisconsin's No 1 Country Band!
