NEW YORK, NY (Universal Music Classics Group) - International superstar Andrea Bocelli is returning for concerts in select cities across America this June in support of his smash, platinum CD, Amore (released on Sugar/Decca).
Katharine McPhee will be making a special guest appearance at Bocelli's three west coast concerts including June 9th in Sacramento, June 10th in San Jose and June 11th in Los Angeles. The June dates bring the worldwide icon and the young songstress who melted America's hearts together for the first time anywhere in a live concert setting. Bocelli and McPhee discovered their fantastic chemistry when Bocelli made his memorable appearance on American Idol alongside Grammy-winning Amore producer David Foster in April.

Andrea's not-to-be-missed concert tour will feature songs from the latest CD, as well as some of the world's most famous opera arias. Additional appearances this month include a performance at the JCPenny JAM: The Concert For America's Kids, being taped June 14th at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles (to be broadcast on CBS August 22nd), and a special performance on ABC's Good Morning America on June 15th.

Amore marks Bocelli's highest debut ever and still remains steady on the Billboard Top 200 Album Chart and the Classical Crossover Chart. The press has embraced Amore as well; The Los Angeles Times stated the album is a "romantic bonbon" with a "dreamy delivery" while the New York Post gave the album "4 stars." Recorded under the Tuscan sky at Bocelli's home studio, the disc was produced by David Foster and Humberto Gatica with Tony Renis as co- producer, and also features guest performances by superstars Christina Aguilera, Stevie Wonder and Kenny G.
